چکیده
Understanding rainfall and temperature’s spatio-temporal variations at the local, regional, global scale is vital for planning soil water conservation structures making irrigation decisions. The present investigation attempts to observe temperature variability trend over 31 years (1990-2020) in National Capital Region (NCR), Delhi, India, obtained from IARI meteorological station, Pusa, New Delhi. statistical analyses Mann-Kendall (MK) test followed by Theil Sen slope estimator was used annual monthly analysis assess direction magnitude of change time. Pettitt's detected inflection point variable time series. Tmax, Tmin, showed no series data. However, Tmax indicated a statistically significant decreasing January December. This implies dip during winter months Similarly, Tmin revealed But increasing observed April, which may cause harsh environment cultivating Zaid season crops due increased warming. Pettitt data For data, occurred 1998. it that April 1999. average marked 2012. A didactic implication these changes on hydrologic design crop decisions discussed this paper.
